About this Product

This serving tray is made with reclaimed wood. It's a nice mid-sized tray for serving drinks or snacks. Stood on its end, it can store out of the way in the corner of the kitchen. It's also a good size to live on a coffee table as a decorative piece.

I love the blue/green combined with the black sides!

The finish is a polycrylic, which gives some protection from normal use and some condensation from drinks. It's not waterproof, so clean up spills and don't leave it out in the rain.

Meet the Maker

I inherited my mom's craftiness, and I get a lot of joy from making things!

My current crafty focus is on woodworking and painting. Bringing the two together is especially satisfying. I love making fine woodworking pieces, but I don't shy away from throwing together something rustic using reclaimed wood.

Seasonal items are fun because they give me something new to play with all the time. I can always look forward to the next season if I'm caught in the doldrums. Creating something lovely and useful is my favorite. But it's also nice to just make something pretty.

If you like the style of something but prefer a different color scheme, please don't hesitate to reach out. Custom orders will take more time. But it's worth it to wait a little while for the perfect piece!

How it’s Made

The bottom and sides are reclaimed pine, so there are some imperfections, though I did try to make it as smooth and pretty as I could. The bottom slats were glued to a piece of plywood and sanded until they were even. I used blue and green dye to color them. The sides are colored with black India ink. Light coat of polycrylic for protection.
